Facility Rentals
Whether you prefer a quaint, historic building or a grand, modern complex, Susquehanna Heritage offers two distinctly different, but equally beautiful, riverfront locations. Both of our venues are rich with historic and cultural value. When you choose one our venues, your rental fee supports a very worthy cause to continue the preservation, conservation, and interpretation of the Susquehanna River’s cultural and natural heritage.
Zimmerman Center for Heritage
The Zimmerman Center for Heritage is a restored 1740s home with river views, high ceilings, contemporary art exhibit, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It is a perfect meeting place for small parties, business retreats, and lectures. Located just south of Wrightsville, Pennsylvania in York County, the Zimmerman Center is only minutes from major highways. Best for groups of less than 30 people.
Columbia Crossing River Trails Center
Columbia Crossing River Trails Center, located on the riverfront at Columbia, Pennsylvania in Lancaster County, offers space for large conferences, parties, or weddings. The center is accented with gorgeous wood beams, stone walls, and many windows offering river views. From its covered porch, guests can enjoy a calm breeze and view the historic Veterans Memorial Bridge, constructed in 1930. Best for groups between 30 and 100 persons.
Chief Uncas Private Cruise
A unique setting for special events, family gatherings, or business meetings, the Chief Uncas can accommodate small and large groups to explore the Susquehanna for a one of a kind experience. Passengers can relax and enjoy the view from one of the vessel’s three seating areas as the boat silently cruises along the 10 mile stretch of river known as Lake Clarke. Caterers and guests can utilize the vintage ice box to store their cold drinks and alcoholic beverages. The boat’s mid-ship saloon with pull up table is perfect for serving snacks and refreshments.
