Heritage Partnership Program

Heritage Partnership Program Details

We are excited to introduce SNHA’s new Heritage Partnership Program—an initiative designed to support preservation and celebrate our region’s rich heritage. The Program contains three complementary pillars that are designed to strengthen local communities and foster historic preservation efforts:

  • Heritage Partnership Grant Program – Financial support, from our PA DCNR and NPS grant programs, is available to qualifying organizations for projects which preserve, interpret, or promote heritage in York and Lancaster Counties. Whether you’re looking to restore historic structures, create educational materials, or implement preservation projects, our grant program may be helpful.
  • Regional Networking Opportunities – We will offer future opportunities to connect with other heritage professionals, organizations, and community leaders across the Heritage Area. Our goal is to build partnerships, share resources, and collaborate on initiatives that elevate our shared history and cultural traditions.
  • SNHA Technical Assistance – In the near future, we will offer expert guidance on a wide range of topics, from heritage tourism, grant writing, preservation planning, and interpretation. The SNHA team will review your request and determine if we have the expertise and resources to support your preservation challenge.

The Heritage Partnership Program is open to a diverse range of participants, including nonprofit organizations, local governments, historical societies, museums, and other cultural entities. Whether you’re a seasoned preservationist or just getting started, we want to help you succeed.
