What is Riverfest?
Riverfest commemorates the 1863 burning of the Columbia-Wrightsville Bridge during the Civil War. It’s a celebration of history and community, with opportunities for local organizations and businesses to participate meaningfully.

Who are our Heritage Partners?

During Riverfest, Susquehanna NHA collaborates with local organizations and heritage professionals to bring unique programs and immersive experiences to the community. We’re here to partner with you, helping to design engaging activities while providing technical support every step of the way.

Examples of experiences include:

  • Offering special tours at your museum or site.
  • Giving a lecture, talk, or walking tour.
  • Providing a location for or collaborating with other Heritage Partners.
  • Adjusting operating hours to align with Riverfest activities.
  • NEW: Hosting tours on the Rivertowne Trolley.

Examples of Technical Support We Provide:

  • Ticket Sales & Website Promotion – We can sell tickets for your experience or link to your website on www.SusqNHA.org/events. Keeping ticket sales centralized makes it easier for visitors and helps boost attendance. If SNHA handles ticket sales, we cover all credit card fees and send you 100% of the proceeds after Riverfest.
  • Marketing & Advertising – We’ll promote your experience through our website, social media, and print materials to help reach a wider audience.
  • Experience Development – Need help crafting an engaging experience? We offer guidance and support in developing your tour or program.
  • Location Assistance – We can help secure suitable locations for your experience.
  • Research Support – Our team can assist in gathering historical or environmental research to enhance your program.
  • Resource & Funding Connections – With ample planning time, we can connect you with potential funding sources or material resources to support your event.

We’re eager to include as much of the community as possible in this special event and can help customize a way for your organization to get involved.
